Booking & Cancellation Policy

Last updated: 6 August 2026

How appointments are booked, confirmed, rescheduled and billed at the practice.

Making an appointment

Appointments may be requested by telephone or through the website enquiry form. A form submission is a request, not a confirmed booking. Your appointment is confirmed only once the rooms have contacted you with a date and time.

What to bring

  • Your identity document and medical aid card.
  • A referral letter, where your scheme requires one.
  • Previous scans, audiograms, reports and a list of current medication.

Cancellations and rescheduling

Please give at least 24 hours' notice if you cannot attend, so that the slot can be offered to another patient. Late cancellations and missed appointments may be charged for at the discretion of the practice.

Fees and medical schemes

The practice charges according to its published rates, which may exceed medical scheme tariffs. You remain responsible for any shortfall. Quotations for surgery are provided in writing before admission wherever possible.

Waiting times

Emergencies and theatre lists occasionally cause delays. The rooms will let you know as early as possible if your appointment is running late.
